Youth and Sports Directorate Honors Imtidad Organization with the Shield of Excellence and Creativity.
The Youth and Sports Directorate in Karbala honored Imtidad Organization for Culture and Education with the Shield of Excellence and Creativity, in recognition of its volunteer efforts and the participation of its teams in serving visitors during the Arbaeen pilgrimage.
The honor came during the organization’s official visit to the Directorate’s headquarters, upon an official invitation, in the presence of the Director of the Youth and Sports Directorate, Mr. Ammar Abdul-Zahra Bani Al-Khafaji, and the Head of the Volunteer Work Division, Mr. Ghazwan Kadhim Al-Masoudi. The initiative reflects the Directorate’s support for youth and volunteer initiatives and its appreciation of efforts dedicated to community service.
The Directorate praised the role of Imtidad’s volunteer teams and their field initiatives and participation, particularly during religious occasions and pilgrimages, emphasizing the importance of promoting a culture of volunteering and providing young people with opportunities to actively contribute to society.
For its part, Imtidad Organization for Culture and Education expressed its appreciation for the honor, affirming that the Shield of Excellence and Creativity represents an important incentive to continue its work, strengthen cooperation and coordination with government institutions, and support young people and the wider community.
The organization also noted that its volunteer activities are carried out through the self-funded efforts of its teams and members, without external support or funding from sponsoring entities, based on its belief that volunteering is a social responsibility and a humanitarian mission requiring initiative and continuity.
Imtidad Organization includes several volunteer teams registered with the Youth and Sports Directorate in Karbala and implements programs and initiatives across various fields, in line with its objectives in culture, education, community service, youth empowerment, and the promotion of volunteer work.
